One of the few very large paintings Rikki and I made together recently. One responding to the movement, energy and colour expressed by the other, taking it in turns to respond to what the painting needs next. The flow we get in really feels like a dance. I usually take far longer to find what my next move will be, analysing and thinking of the likely impact of what I am about to do, while Rikki just plunges in. I am still far too much in my head!
Its a fascinating process, painting with one's lover.
